Our Lady Of Hope

Although I finished this piece over a week ago, I have been crazy busy and unable to post until now...

Unfortunately, even though I have come up with great recipes, and have been able to cook and photograph the dishes, it doesn't' mean I've had the time to post them on my new blog. But I have loved putting together what a friend of mine calls table-scapes!

Yes...table-scapes. Some time in the near future, I'm wanting to have a dessert party at my new place serving a whole big spread of my healthy yummy treats. Banana bread, carrot cake, carob and regular brownies, cupcakes...

I'll close on that yummy thought. Until next time, take care.

Faces#874-#878

While I am a Christian, I am not Catholic. Nonetheless, when I asked my mother what she wanted for her birthday, she wanted a painting of the Virgin Mary. Specifically, Our Lady Of Pontmain which was an apparition of the Virgin Mary as she appeared in Pontmain, France, to a group of children. While there are certain artistic liberties that have been made, there are details very specific to include. The painting is not finished, but here it is in progress.
Here are some other faces, just some quicker drawings and a 3d experiment...

Things have been pretty crazy, but I am determined to pick away at getting to the thousand faces mark. Determined to keep drawing and painting. The food blog is slow going. Even though I have many recipes, and come up with new ones all the time, cooking things, taking photograghs of them, and then blogging about them can be time consuming. But I'll slowly pick away at that, too...here's a recent pic I took of a dish I made...

That's what I'm calling "Garlicky Green Kitchen Fettucini" It was delicious!

Thanks for visiting. Until next time, take care!

Faces #871-873, And The Latest

I have so much to share I don't know where to begin! I have a new blog, working on some different projects, and wanted to share pics of my new place. Let me start with the new place. I am so happy here. I have a hot tub in my master bath, two spare bedrooms (one of which is my office/studio), and a lake out back! Here are some pics!

Then I guess I'll share a link to my new blog. It is called Green Kitchen, and it is a blog devoted to sharing healthy recipes and tips...

Please visit, if you get the chance! Some great recipes there, with many more to come. Next, I was going to share a logo design job that came my way. But since there are already so many pics, I'll close with the faces I rendered.

I will try to post again soon. Until next time, take care!

Whitey's Ride

I have been working on a new piece, for which I have done some digital preliminary work, for a friend....

This was a lot of fun. The first two are vector drawings done in Adobe Illustrator, and the second two were finished off in Photoshop. I still want to do a pastel painting of my friend's bike!
I have moved again, and next post I will share pics of my beautiful new place. Also, I am going to start a new blog, loaded with my healthy recipes to share. I will provide the link here, when it's up. Thanks for reading. Take care until next time.

Face#870

There are about 3-4 faces I haven't posted before this one, but this is 870. This is an old friend of mine, fishing on the Sea of Cortez. This painting was a pleasure to do, and there is a story behind it, but I can't tell it here. Just wanted to share the painting itself, here, though because I haven't posted in a while. I have some others ahead.
