Other Faces

While this blog is devoted solely to more traditional drawing methods, I have also explored fiber arts, digital drawing/painting, sugar art, and more. Here are some pics of faces rendered in those.

The first pictures are of quilts.

Here are a couple digital faces I have done, below. These are not altered photographs, but are drawn using a mouse and painted in Corel Painter.

The above digital paintings were done to be printed on fabric for quilters. You can find them at Spoonflower.

What I have found in many other areas of art, is that on top of traditional drawing skills, there are other skills needed as well.
