New faces And More Colors Of The Sea
Although I have faces # 565-#567 to share this post, I also wanted to share some more home dec projects. Here below are the fabrics I finally chose for pillows and runners and such. A recent purchase someone made of one of my beach-related designs at Spoonflower (a commercial fabric printing company) reminded me of this otherwise forgotten sandcastle fabric panel, and I thought the colors would work out well here. I love the batik fabric shown beneath it, which I bought 5 yards of about four years ago. You can't go wrong in decorating by surrounding yourself with things you adore!
I bought these tumbled stones in blues and greens to fill these decorative giant champagne flutes. The stones add such a nice visual "punch" where they are placed, and they also whisper of the colors of the sea.
A hand painted project in progress...
And finally, some faces done in dark brown pastel pencil...
Until next time, take care!
