Face #601

I have been working from three different packages of 19" by 25" Canson papers for a little while now. The papers are in various colors, and I felt like working on this darker green sheet. But as it occasionally happens, I forget to check which side of the sheet I have turned up before starting...one is much smoother than the other side and more ideal for my taste. So I accidentally started on the rougher side of the dark green sheet, and it caused some struggling for me along the way. I did at least bring this to a point where I will either quit, or add some minimal touches to finish. I like the mood the color of the paper added to this piece.

I am wanting to do some non-face related paintings, so I may be sharing some of those here in the near future. Until next time, take care!
